Synopsis from IMDB::
Pretty tomboy Kim Matthews, 19, used to be a champion skateboarder - but now she's stuck in a dead end job trying to support her Dad. Opportunity comes knocking in the form of a catering job in the one of the most exclusive chalets in the Alps. At first, Kim's baffled by this bizarre new world of posh people, champagne and skiing - but then she discovers snowboarding, and the chance to win some much-needed prize money at the big end-of-season competition. But before she can become a champion again, Kim's going to have to dig deep to overcome her fears. Hard enough, without the complicating factor of Jonny, her handsome - though spoken for - BOSS.Hmmm... for anyone who knew me well(or have read most of my movie reviews.. should know that I love cheesy teen romance movie (beside horror, gore, action, romance and so on...).
I love teen movies, because the plot is rather simple, carefree and the tone of the cinematography is so bright and cheerful... it serve the purpose of relaxing my mind (It's a mood lightening movie! kekekee)
Alright back to Chalet GIrl....
This movie feel more like a TV movie then a big screen movie (no wonder Singapore doesn't have it Oops! I speak too fast... just found out that Singapore would be screening this on 15th Sept 2011)
This movie was too "overly" simple and some of the plots seem kinda off... lolx... anyway, I still love the bright white snow and blue blue sky!!!
Just like the synopsis..the lead who need money and working as a chalet girl earn quite abit more then her boring fast food's job! She went on a journey of self discovering, over coming her fear and fall in love with her boss!
I still prefer DCOM(well.. I simply love DC)- except Camp Rock 2... WHY?????
