Dolce & Gabbana Ad Campaign Spring Summer 2012
When tradition meets beauty: Monica Bellucci, Bianca Balti and Simone Nobili capture the essence of the Italian family!
The Dolce & Gabbana woman for Summer 2012 is inspired by Italian beauty and its female cinema star icons: Anna Magnani, Monica Vitti and especially Sofi a Loren, women endowed with authentic charm and who personify seduction and comfort at the same time.
Monica Bellucci, the incarnation of Italian beauty par excellence, stars in the campaign shot by Giampaolo Sgura alongside the model Bianca Balti, interpreting the images as if they were scenes from an upbeat comedy set in Southern Italy.
Dolce&Gabbana celebrate Italian cinema, a continuous source of inspiration for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who imagine the Menswear Summer 2012 campaign as a film interpreted by real actors: Giuseppe Fiorello, Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Thomas Trabacchi, Primo Reggiani and Chiara Francini.

2012 Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer ad campaign
"The spirit our Spring/Summer 2012 collection is reflected beautifully in this new ad campaign," says Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs.
"All the tone and texture of the collection – the lightness, the prettiness, the broderie anglaise, the millefeuille layers of organza – are recreated in these wonderful images by Steven Meisel. It is all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic."

Up-and-coming models Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher are the lucky pair chosen to sample the parlor's assorted delights while wearing some of the season's standout looks, including romantic broderie anglaise dresses, ladylike shifts embellished with strass, studs and 3D flowers, and sorbetcolored suits with white lace collars.
